One women spoke to the LA Times after getting trapped between Sunset Boulevard and Palisades Drive. She said the fire broke out near the Starbucks and that police were seen running down the street yelling at drivers to abandon their vehicles and ‘run for your lives’.The LA Fire Department put out a call to ask off-duty firefights to step in and help. Strong wind has spread the fire, making things even more dangerous and harder to control. Reaching gusts of around 100mph has also meant that homes have lost power as well as around 15,000 homes having their power shut off to avoid starting any more fires. Actor James Woods also had to evacuate his home in the nearby area. All residents of Pacific Palisades have been told to leave the area immediately. Prayers to all impacted.
