I had a dog for eleven wonderful years, and then one day he tore my nose off

An unprovoked and horrifying attack occurred when a woman’s dog abruptly chewed off her nose. After being attacked at home, 31-year-old Shayna Crimo “screamed bloody murder” for her spouse to call the police.

King, Shayna’s 11-year-old companion dog, had never acted aggressively before, and the event happened just minutes after she had returned from an art lesson. She still lives with King even though she lost the majority of her nose and had to have several forehead flap surgery to rebuild the area.

This terrible incident occurred on January 18, just a few days before another terrible event: two days after her initial surgery, her nearly 13-year-old pit bull Krieo was scheduled to be put down due to cancer. “These dogs literally grew up with me,” Shayna remarked, describing her relationship with her dogs. According to the Mirror, “I’ve had them for more than ten years… they are my children essentially.”

“Should I put King down? Not at all f*g. I would prefer that he spend the rest of his life at home, never leaving the house, never needing a babysitter, and simply being extra cautious, but that is not an option.”

“As soon as I went to give him a hug and a kiss, he bit me immediately,” the loving pet owner from Nevada, USA, continued. He didn’t make any noises, he didn’t back up, there was no snarl, and there was no warning. It went by so quickly.

“I recall the terrible feeling of being shaken, after which I rushed into the toilet, saw how I looked, and yelled bloody murder to get [her boyfriend] to dial 911. Since I’ve respected King’s boundaries for nearly 11 years, I know he doesn’t want to be bothered at night, which is why this has never happened.

He was sitting up at the edge of the bed, not lying down. He’s sitting there like that, very alert, and has never displayed any violent behaviour or warning indications.”

Shayna has found the dilemma especially emotional, but she is still thinking about putting King down. To assist gather money for the several surgeries she will require to recuperate from the attack, she has created a GoFundMe page.

“I just can’t believe how extreme it all is,” the fundraiser stated. My heart is completely broken. I’ll have to pay for the euthanasia, have several operations (I’ve just had the first one so far), lose months of work, and, let’s be honest, get some serious treatment.

I feel so powerless for myself right now. “For me and my loved ones, this will be a very lengthy trip. Anything will be greatly appreciated and helpful. Of all, my heart needs the most repair. Please offer up prayers.

Princess Diana’s bodyguard says 3 mistakes killed her

Three fatal security failures led to Princess Diana’s tragic death — at least, that’s what her former bodyguard, Ken Wharfe, claims.

It’s hard to believe that nearly 30 years have passed since Princess Diana’s tragic death. The world lost an icon, a humanitarian, and two young boys lost their mother. It’s impossible not to wonder what she would be like today — how she would look, what role she would have taken on, and how she might have continued to shape the world.

First meeting with Diana

Ken Wharfe, her former bodyguard who spent six years working closely with her, remembers her fondly. Reflecting on Diana’s impact, he praised her ”wicked sense of humor” and said he felt ”incredibly privileged” to have been part of her life.

Wharfe recalled that from the very first time he met Princess Diana, she showed just how down-to-earth she truly was.

”As I walked into the room, I was introduced, and Diana said, ‘I don’t envy you, Ken, looking after my kids. They can be a bloody nuisance,’” Wharfe told The Sun.

Right on cue, young William, who had been attempting to play the piano, spun around and objected, “No, we’re not a bloody nuisance!” Just as he spoke, Harry tumbled off a table.

”Diana immediately got up and said, ‘Come here, both of you!’ before chasing them out of the room. I hadn’t even said a word yet,” Wharfe recalled.

She returned moments later, shaking her head.

”You see what I mean, Ken?”, she said.

That moment, he explained, changed everything.

”Suddenly, instead of talking to a royal, you were speaking to a parent, a young mother, someone you could truly relate to.”

And that, he said, was Diana in a nutshell—full of fun, laughter, and, at times, deep sadness.

A dangerous driver behind the wheel

Having served as her personal protection officer from 1987 to 1993, Wharfe insists that the People’s Princess might still be alive today if key decisions had been made differently.

One of the most critical mistakes, according to Wharfe, was who was driving the car that fateful August night in 1997.

Diana was traveling with her boyfriend, Egyptian film producer Dodi Fayed, as well as Ritz security chief Henri Paul, who was behind the wheel, and Dodi’s bodyguard, Trevor Rees-Jones — the crash’s sole survivor.

Sadly, Paul had been drinking before getting behind the wheel and was driving at dangerously high speeds when the car slammed into the 13th pillar of the Pont de l’Alma tunnel in Paris. Wharfe is convinced that Diana could have survived if someone else had been driving.

”The one thing that would have saved Diana’s life that night would have been if they’d kicked out the chauffeur and for Rees-Jones to have driven,” he stated.

“But he couldn’t do that because he couldn’t speak to Dodi Fayed — he told him what to do. And that’s a shame, because had Rees-Jones taken that command, had he taken that decision to boot out Henri Paul, you and I would not be having this discussion.”

A fatal attempt to outsmart the paparazzi

Diana and Dodi’s original plan was to travel a short distance from the Ritz Hotel to an apartment near the Champs-Elysées. Another critical mistake that night was the lack of planning and coordination — or rather, the complete lack of coordination— with the local police regarding the car journey.

Wharfe believes the tragedy could have been prevented entirely if Dodi and Diana’s security team had worked with local police instead of shutting them out and viewing the press as “the enemy.”

In an effort to evade the press, they devised a plan using decoy cars. A Range Rover was positioned at the front entrance of the Ritz with Dodi’s usual driver behind the wheel, while Diana and Dodi secretly exited through the back in a black armored Mercedes.

Henri Paul — who was four times over the legal drinking limit in France — had been called in from home to drive them. The high-speed chase that followed ended in disaster, with the Mercedes crashing at over 60 mph.

The lack of a security team

Perhaps the most avoidable mistake, according to Wharfe, was Diana’s decision to dismiss her Scotland Yard security team. After separating from Prince Charles in 1992, she eventually let go of her royal protection.

Wharfe recalls urging Diana to reconsider just weeks before she cut ties with them. ”She said, ‘You’ve always been great with advice. If there’s one piece of advice you’d give me, what would it be?’”

His response was clear: “I urge you, I urge you, not to lose the Scotland Yard security because we have given you that freedom, we’ve broken rules to allow you to have the normality that you crave for, and there’s no reason why that shouldn’t continue.”

Despite his warning, Diana dismissed her entire security team just four weeks later. Wharfe firmly believes that had Queen Elizabeth insisted she keep them, Diana would have agreed.

”You cannot force security on somebody, they have to say ‘yes, I’ll take it’. But the fact that it wasn’t offered, this was her way of saying I want a new life.”

Diana’s death sent shockwaves across the globe, dominating headlines for weeks. While her funeral became a historic moment of mourning, the haunting images of her wrecked car remain etched in the minds of many.

More than two decades later, the debate over what could have saved Diana continues. But for Ken Wharfe, the answers are clear — three crucial decisions sealed her fate that night. Do you agree with him?

Mom ordered to cover herself up when she breastfeeds

It’s 2022 – but the debate as to whether or not women should be allowed to breastfeed openly in public places continues to rage.

That said, I think we can all agree that it’s not easy for mothers to cover up during the summertime.

It’s simply too hot for both mom and child. When a little one is hungry, it’s important for women to feel comfortable enough to feed where they can.

Breastfeeding is a natural and beautiful act. For many moms, it’s a key part of raising a child to be big and strong and giving him or her the right nutrients. It’s also a way to bond with the child.

Whatever your stance is on public breastfeeding, the reality is that a mom can decide to nurse in public anytime, anywhere. Some people are unbothered by it, while others sense some discomfort at the sight.

When Melanie Dudley, mom of a newborn, was told to cover up by a stranger at a restaurant, she reacted in a way that’s being hailed by thousands of mothers (and others) around the world.

Back in 2018, Melanie Dudley was sitting in an 86-degree restaurant with her three-month-old son and a few friends when her baby suddenly decided it was lunchtime.

Melanie, a native of Texas and a new mom, carefully took out her nipple so that her son could begin breastfeeding without everything else being on display. Only, a man at a nearby table wasn’t comfortable with what she was doing anyway.

Melanie responds

The stranger approached Melanie and asked her to cover up. Melanie agreed to cover herself, just not in the manner the man was expecting.

”I was on vacation in Cabo San Lucas with my entire family, and a man asked me to cover myself. I’m usually discreet but we were seated in the back of the restaurant,” Melanie told Yahoo.

“I did have the cover on, but it was so hot. It was like, 95 degrees, and my little baby was sweating,” the Texan told TODAY.

“I said, ‘You know what? I’m on vacation, I’m taking this off.’”

Melanie couldn’t see the problem, but the man in question did. So, Melanie responded by putting the cover over her head, instead, which left the restaurant in fits of laughter.

”I just put it over my head. I don’t know why. It wasn’t like a salacious fight or anything. That was just my response. I had no words, so I thought, I’ll just cover my head instead,” the woman explained.

Another woman took a photo of Melanie and uploaded it to her Facebook. The resulting post quickly garnered plenty of attention and has now been shared over 225,000 times.

Melanie’s picture got a lot of attention, and many praised her for the courage to publish it. Of course, she wasn’t the first woman to be criticized for breastfeeding in public, but Melanie’s creative response made the picture go viral, and the discussion flared up in a way that caused significant news agencies to cover the topic.

Even though the event took place in 2018, there are still people who comment on the post, and it continues to stir emotions. It only shows that the debate about breastfeeding is still relevant.

It’s a woman’s right to breastfeed her child and breast milk isn’t known as “liquid gold” for nothing but women continue to suffer criticism for doing what nature intended.

Suffice to say that Melanie’s actions silenced the man who had told her to hide. Please share this article to pay tribute to Melanie’s ingenuity.

Taylor Swift’s five-word response to being jeered is revealed by a lip reader

The Kansas City Chiefs’ hopes of creating history were dashed on Sunday in Super Bowl LIX against the Philadelphia Eagles. Pop sensation Taylor Swift, the girlfriend of superstar Travis Kelce, was jeered when she appeared on the big screen, and Kelce had a quiet night. Her genuine five-word response is now public knowledge.

Born in West Reading, Pennsylvania, Taylor Swift was observed walking around New York City a few years ago sporting a Philadelphia Eagles hoodie. But when she began dating superstar Travis Kelce, she instinctively switched her loyalty to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Swift has been to several Chiefs games since the pair went public, and she was there on Sunday to cheer on her boyfriend as the Chiefs tried to create NFL history.

The Chiefs were crushed by the Eagles in a 40–22 thumping in Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, which ended their aspirations of becoming the NFL’s first-ever “three-peat” Super Bowl champions.

Travis Kelce just managed 39 yards on four catches during his lacklustre game. The Eagles were ahead 24-0 at the half, and Kelce had not yet caught a pass. Taylor Swift was the target of a severe backlash, as if things weren’t already awful for the Chiefs and Kelce. Swift’s prior support for the Eagles before moving to the Chiefs appears to have stuck in the minds of the New Orleans Eagles fans.

Fans booed loudly at the superstar singer when she stepped onto the big screen. Many on social media conjectured that she responded to people around her with a heartfelt five-word statement as cameras focused on her: According to multiple media agencies, she said, “Aww what, what’s going on.”

Many people think that Swift’s change in team loyalties was the reason for the jeers, but Donald Trump had a different opinion and praised “MAGA” followers for opposing her. Taylor Swift was the only one who had a more difficult night than the Kansas City Chiefs. She was jeered as she left the stadium. MAGA is quite harsh! Trump posted on Truth Social.

Serena Williams, her buddy, swiftly defended her on X, posting: “I love you @taylorswift13.” Don’t pay attention to those booo! In the event that the Chiefs won Super Bowl LIX, there was conjecture that Travis Kelce may pop the question to Swift. After the game, though, Swift was nowhere to be seen as Kelce left the arena by himself.
