Jada Pinkett CONFRONTS Will Smith, Chris Rock About What Happened At The Oscar WANTS Both To Fix It

Pinkett Smith’s comments about the slap have been slim. Days after the Oscars telecast, she slyly addressed the moment on Instagram, writing, “This is a season for healing and I’m here for it.”

When the fifth season of Red Table Talk premiered in April, a title card acknowledging the incident appeared. “Considering all that has happened in the last few weeks, the Smith family has been focused on deep healing,” the message read.

“Some of the discoveries around our healing will be shared at the table when the time calls. Until then the table will continue offering itself to powerful, inspiring, and healing testimonies like that of our incredibly impressive first guest.”

No public plans have been announced for Smith and Rock to convene at the Red Table, but the stage has certainly been set should the occasion arise.

“Now, about Oscar night,” Pinkett Smith continued. “My deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out, and reconcile. The state of the world today? We need them both.

And we all actually need one another more than ever. Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years, and that’s keep figuring out this thing called life together.”
