A private jet owned by Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil crashed into another aircraft while landing at an Arizona airport on Monday afternoon, leaving one person dead and four others injured, according to authorities.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Vince Neil’s Learjet 35A lost control on the runway and collided with a parked Gulfstream 200 business jet at Scottsdale Airport on the afternoon of February 10.
The aircraft had departed from Austin, Texas, carrying two pilots and two passengers. However, Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil was not on board, according to his representative, Worrick Robinson.
The dramatic crash was captured on video, and the airport was shut down following the incident. Images shared on social media show two wrecked aircraft on the runway, with first responders converging on the scene.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene and had yet to be extricated from the wreckage by 6 p.m. local time, according to Scottsdale Fire Capt. Dave Folio. Two individuals were immediately transported to trauma centers, while another was later taken to a local hospital in stable condition. A fourth person declined medical treatment.
“On behalf of the city of Scottsdale, we offer our deepest condolences to those involved in the accident and for those who have been taken to our trauma center for treatment,” Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky said in a statement. “We will keep all affected by this tragedy in our prayers.”
Vince Neil’s girlfriend was on board
According to a source speaking to TMZ on Monday, Vince Neil’s 64-year-old partner, Rain Andreani, 43, and her friend Ashley survived the crash and were taken to a nearby hospital following the tragic incident.
Andreani sustained five broken ribs, but all the pet dogs the women had brought on board were unharmed, sources told the outlet.
Mötley Crüe took to their official X/Twitter page to express their sorrow: ”While details are still emerging, our hearts go out to the families about the pilot who lost his life in the passengers who suffered injuries. Mötley Crüe will announce a way to help support the family of the deceased pilot -stand by for an announcement very soon.”

As authorities continue investigating the cause of the crash, airport officials addressed the incident in a statement on X. “Our thoughts are with everyone that has been impacted by this tragic event,” the statement read.
This accident is part of a series of recent aviation tragedies in United States. Among them was a midair collision near Washington, D.C., between an American Airlines passenger jet and a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter, which claimed 67 lives. In another incident, a medical plane crashed in Philadelphia, resulting in seven fatalities.
Additionally, a small aircraft that went missing over Alaska’s Bering Sea was later confirmed to have crashed. The Cessna 208B Grand Caravan, carrying 10 people, was located near Nome after an extensive search.
A Firefighter’s Heartfelt Connection with a Single Mom’s Son
While working a busy Halloween shift at a diner, a single mom brought her four-year-old son, Micah, along after her babysitter canceled. Dressed in a firefighter costume, Micah sat in a booth with crayons and a grilled cheese sandwich.
But during the dinner rush, the mother noticed Micah was missing. Panicked, she searched the diner and found him in the kitchen, talking to a real firefighter.
Micah, too young to grasp the full story, was telling the firefighter about his dad—a firefighter who had died the previous year while saving lives. The man listened intently before asking Micah his father’s name.
Upon hearing it, the firefighter was moved to tears, realizing that Micah’s dad had been his friend and colleague. He pulled a small, worn silver badge from his pocket—one that Micah’s father had once given him for good luck—and handed it to Micah, passing on a piece of his father’s legacy.

This emotional encounter reminded the mother that even though her husband was gone, his memory and the bonds he created lived on. She felt comforted knowing that people like this kind firefighter continued to honor her husband’s legacy and would be there for her and Micah.
Before and after photos of Jamie Wilson’s female-to-male transition
The process of transitioning from one gender to another is personal, but it can also be challenging, requiring strength, determination, and the ability to challenge stereotypes.
Although societies are becoming more accepting of people who transition, these issues remain taboo in many countries. This makes life difficult for transgender individuals.
Jamie Wilson is a transgender musician whose life serves as inspiration for many people who consider going through what he had gone – transition from female to male.
Wilson, who is a well-known name within the transgender community, not only shares his life story but also photos of himself showing the process of his transition.
“When I came out, people refused to believe I was a man because I had looked feminine for 18 years,” he said.
He started his transition by cutting his hair short and wearing men clothes. Later, he had started testosterone therapy, which takes around one to two years for the results to show. A complete change, however, may require up to five years.
“At first I was scared to come out as transgender because I didn’t give any ‘signs’ as people say.
“I looked and presented very feminine. Not because I wanted to but because I felt pressured to make the people around me happy.”
“When I first came out people tried telling me ‘this is not who you are’ that’s when I realized you are NOT who people think you are…you are who you KNOW you are,” he said.
Wilson’s transition took time, but it also took certain toll, including losing some of his family and friends who didn’t support his decision.
Except for the hormone treatment, some individuals opt for a surgery.
According to UCSF, many of the effects of hormone therapy are reversable if the therapy is stopped. This, however, isn’t the case with the surgeries, which are permanent.
This is why it is of crucial importance to talk to medical professionals about all the risks and get informed about every aspect of the transition process before undergoing one.
Addressing his followers on the social media, Wilson says that “Not everyone has to show ‘signs’ to be transgender. You don’t have to pass a test to prove you’re trans…”
He adds: “And you sure as hell don’t need ANYONE’S approval but your own.”
James Wilson’s transition and his self-confidence are truly remarkable.

Update on the Pope’s health after he reportedly informed aides he ‘won’t make it this time
According to people close to the veteran, Pope Francis was admitted to the hospital last week for the same illness that caused him to become ill in 2023, but this time he doesn’t think he’ll be as fortunate. The 88-year-old was admitted to Rome’s Gemelli hospital on Friday last week (February 14) with bronchitis, a respiratory infection, and was later diagnosed with pneumonia in both of his lungs.
“Pneumonia is inflammation and fluid in your lungs caused by a bacterial, viral, or fungal infection,” according to the Cleveland Clinic. In addition to making breathing difficult, it can result in fever and coughing up crimson, green, or yellow mucus.
Additionally, it states that “if left untreated, especially if you have an underlying health condition,” pneumonia can be fatal. Thankfully, it is recognised that baby is breathing on his own despite the diagnosis.
Politico said that the head of the Catholic Church has been “suffering from intense pain and has privately expressed certainty he won’t make it this time,” according to two persons who were supposedly aware of the situation.
However, a third source reportedly told the US-based website that Francis, who was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina’s Flores neighbourhood, is only following “doctor’s orders.”
On Wednesday, Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni paid the Pope a visit and emphasised that he was healthy enough to joke about. “I’m glad to have found him responsive and attentive.
As usual, we made jokes. “He still has a good sense of humour,” she clarified. Today, February 21, the Vatican released a statement that said, “The night went well, and this morning Pope Francis got up and had breakfast.”
The Vatican maintained on Wednesday that the Pope was recovering, despite reports from people close to him suggesting otherwise. They added: “The blood tests, evaluated by the medical staff, show a slight improvement, particularly in inflammatory indices.” “Pope Francis has had a restful night and this morning, got out of bed and had breakfast in an armchair,” the Vatican wrote on Thursday, February 20.

Francis was admitted to Gemelli Hospital in March 2023 with acute bronchitis, so this is not the first time he has been hospitalised with a respiratory ailment.
“I am still alive,” he declared to the public after being released from the hospital.
Twelve years ago, in March 2013, Pope Francis was chosen, making him the first pope from the Southern Hemisphere and the first non-European elected in almost 1,300 years.
